Minnesota Lemon Law
On the whole, Minnesota's Lemon Law is favorable to the consumer. If the vehicle is out of service for more than 30 days; if the vehicle needs to be repaired four times in the first two years after purchase; and if the problem prevents you from safely using the car, you are entitled to a full refund.
Iowa Lemon Law
Iowa's law is equally favorable to the consumer. The vehicle only needs to have been repaired three times with the problem continuing, or out of service for 30 days for any number of problems within the Lemon Law rights period to qualify as a lemon. In addition, dealers in Iowa only get one chance to repair a problem that is likely to cause death or serious bodily injury.
